I first met Ana whilst networking and heard of her design and millinery or hat making skills, so when I had a special wedding to attend, without hesitation I knew it was Ana I would ask to design and make me a hat that would go with the dress that I had bought. The dress also needed taking in and I left this with Ana to do.

I visited Ana at her “studio” which is festooned with brightly coloured cloth and materials for her craft. Nothing was rushed, I tried on half a dozen designs and chose the one I liked, we then discussed colours and also the practicality of the size of the hat as I was travelling and flying and did not want a large hat.

We had a second appointment where she showed me the hat design with the chosen materials to check I was happy with everything. Ana also suggested adding a little ‘feather’ type adornments as a finishing touch.   I also tried on my dress which had been altered but not cut and finished.

For my final appointment Ana came to me and showed me how to wear the hat, how to arrange my hair around the fine elastic that keeps the hat in place.  The hat came with a cute and sturdy little “suitcase” which meant I could pack it safely without fear of crushing my hat.

Everyone at the wedding remarked on my hat, I was absolutely thrilled to bits with it and highly recommend Ana for her millinery and dress making expertise.

Dress adjustment to prom dress

Ana adjusted my daughters prom dress beautifully. Her eye to detail was outstanding, and she took the time, great care and effort to make everything just perfect. Best of all she made my daughter feel very comfortable. She was also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend her services.

Amazing attention to detail

Ana is magic. She took the challenge to remake my wedding dress 3 weeks before my wedding. Ana pilled my dress apart at every seam, put it back together and made it fit!

The bones and bra had to be removed, the arm holes, breast area, back and neck line all need to be reshaped - it. was massive. I collected from the wedding shop and took it to Ana on a friend's recommendation, I went to Ana with the view that I won't wear the dress as it was so had nothing to lose . Alchemy Dance Company

We've approached Ana to make the costumes for our dance team. We had a short time frame and encountered various problems with fabric etc. and Ana turned those problems into challenges to overcome like a surfer riding a wave. Ana is exceptional at what she does with a positivity that will put you at ease.

Having a dress designed is a daunting experience – not like just trying something on in a shop and falling in love with it. You have a picture in your mind of how you want it to look and you trust someone to deliver your vision. That is the magic of Ana Espina – she takes your vision or design and turns it into an even better reality. Her talent and tenacity to ensure that you get the perfect fit is incredible – every challenge that I gave her with my design for the dress for my son’s wedding needed creative thinking to make it work, and each time she gave me something better than I had hoped for. Not only does the dress fit perfectly to my body (and as a mature and curvy lady this was incredibly important), the confidence it gave me that it was a stunning original on the day was so worth it. She even surprised me with a final ‘wow’ twist with a beautiful and unusual lining. Having a couture dress made is not cheap, but when you see the hours of painstaking work that goes into it, the numerous fittings to ensure it is perfect, the shopping for the right fabric you see why and it is worth every penny. Ana offers a great and professional service! My prom dress was far too long and big for me and Ana made it fit like a dream. Due to the pandemic, the date of my prom kept changing however Ana was able to work around this. Wedding outfit



After making some enquiries and surfing the internet (Pandemic right?) I knew I was not going to find what I was looking for. I have always known that I did not want to wear a dress on my wedding, and that's largely (if not all) what is on offer out there.

 A friend recommended Anaisa and the experience and outfit have been just perfect!

 Despite giving Anaisa only a brief description of the outfit I had in mind, she went above and beyond. I feel my personality has been represented and I can see myself and feel absolutely comfortable wearing the outfit.

 Even throughout a lockdown situation and tight deadlines with last minute changes in the schedule, the experience never felt stressful. Anaisa made sure every detail of the outfit was looked into. She even made face masks matching the linen of the top!

I went to see Ana to find a fascinator for a wedding I had coming up. I ended up falling in love with two of her creations, a felted hat and a fascinator. Perfect service

Ana is my saviour! I picked up my wedding dress five days before the big day and was devastated to find that the seamstress had ruined mayor parts of it, making it unwearable. "Mother of the Bride"

As the 'Mother Of the Bride' I wanted to look my best for my youngest daughter's wedding. But I'm not really a Mother of the Bride type of dresser! I wanted to find an outfit that I felt good in but was not 'typical' or 'predictable' - this did pose a challenge and the minute you mention the words Mother of the Bride and wedding two things happen! Firstly the prices suddenly sky rockets and outcome the matchy matchy outfits. That was until I made contact with Anaisa.

We met up and I showed her a couple of jackets and dresses that I already had and really like - my style if you like. From that minute she used her amazing creative talent to come up with ideas on what would be possible and what she thought would work for me. I immediately felt at ease and knew that she would create something amazing!

The whole process was very easy, Anaisa created an outfit for me that I absolutely loved and still love, so much that I am going to remodel it slightly so that I can wear it for more occasions. Her talent and profession approach made it a really nice experience from planning to the final outfit. I could not recommend her more highly ! What a talent!

Ana's personalisation and service was second to none. The quality of Ana's work is amazing. Although I'd chosen a premade creation Ana customised this to my hair colour and fitted perfectly and in plenty time for me to choose a suitable outfit.
